New Hanover 96 coach dumps Hashemian from starting formation

IRNA - New Hanover coach Dieter Hecking dropped Vahid Hashemian from the starting formation in light of his recent woeful performances in the Bundesliga, the website of the daily Bild reported on Friday.

Hashemian whose team is ranked last in the Bundesliga, has scored one goal in the first three matches of this season.

Hanover will play at VfL Wolfsburg later in the day.

Hashemian who joined Hanover in July 2005, has netted 31 goals in 119 Bundesliga matches over the past seven years for Hanover, Bayern Munich, VfL Bochum and Hamburger SV.
