Sepahan sign Emad Reza

PFDC - ESFAHAN, Iraqi international Emad Reza will join IPL outfits Sepahan Esfahan for the upcoming season. The striker is expected to close the gap in Sepahan's attack after Team Melli striker Rasoul Khatibi's transfer to Sharjah of UAE.

Reza, who already had been close to signing a deal with Esteghlal Ahvaz, had played for Foolad Khuzestan last season and had scored eight goals in just 14 league matches.

Emad Reza will be the second Iraqi player in Sepahan's squad beside Abdolvahab Abolheil, who came from Esteghlal Ahvaz.

Sepahan are scheduled to face Persepolis Tehran in the Hazfi Cup final's first leg on September 13.
