Veteran Iranian football executive Qasemi dies

MNA – Akbar Qasemi, a Tehran’s Football Board executive old-timer, died of cancer at the age of 59 here Wednesday morning.

Qasemi passed away after a three-month battle against cancer.

According to the Football Federation, Qasemi will be laid to rest Thursday.
