Injury Keeps Maurito Off Pitch

Angolapress - Angolan national football team`s midfielder, Mauro Costa Mulenessa "Maurito" will be operated on May 26, which will keep him out the pitch for six months.

Speaking to Angop, the player currently serving Al Wahda Sport Club of United Arab Emirates, said his club will send him to Belgium next week, where he will undergo a surgery on the left knee.

He said he fell injured three weeks ago in Iran, during an Arab Winners League competition his team won 2-0, with him scoring both goals.
