IRIB - Relegation-threatened German Bundesliga club FC Kaiserslautern will bid farewell to Ferydoon Zandi next week, bringing to a close a disappointing two-year football engagement by the German-Iranian midfielder.

According to the the official FCK website on Saturday, Zandi will be among six players who will depart the team after the club's last match of the season at VFL Wolfsburg on May 13.

The 26-year-old Iranian international who joined Kaiserslautern in 2004 on a two-year deal, played only sporadically in 19 games this season during which he was held scoreless.

Kaiserslautern Coach Wolfgang Wolf had already told Zandi during the winter break that he was free to leave the southwest German Bundesliga club following his Woeful performances during the first half of the season.
