Heavy snow postpones Persepolis-Kesht match

IRNA - Iran's Football Federation here Monday canceled the League Cup match between Persepolis and Kesht-o-San'at due to heavy snow.

Persepolis was to host the Shoushtar-based Kesht in the 100,000-seater Azadi Stadium in western Tehran Monday afternoon.

According to the IFF, the pitch was soaked with water after snowfall during the past days.

The federation has yet to reschedule the game.
