Angola to hold pre-World Cup training camp in south Germany

IRNA - World Cup debutant Angola will hold a three-week training camp at a sports school near the south German city of Stuttgart, DPA reported Tuesday.

The southwest African football squad will prepare from May 9 through 29 at the Ruit sports school for their first-ever World Cup.

The World Cup base of Angola's football team will be the northwest German town of Celle.

Angola plays its inaugural World Cup match against Portugal on June 11 in Cologne before heading to Hanover for a Group D match against Mexico on June 16 and a face-off with Iran on June 21 in Leipzig.
