PLDC - Vahid Hashemian told reporters after the Iran-Togo match that if the fans keep disrespecting the team and the coach, he will leave the national team for good. Vahid told reporters said: "The IFF and the technical staff have worked so hard in the past 4 years for the team to qualify for the World Cup and people should not forget that fact". Hashemian concluded by saying: "In the Tehran cup, the team did not perform well because we did not spend enough time as a team on the training pitch before the tournament, and that is why we did not play well against Macedonia, but we were able to defeat Togo and played much better in the second game." |
