Iranian Kabi bring Al Sadd to summit of Group C

AFC - Iranian international Hossein Kabi scored a second half penalty to bring Q-League side Al Sadd to the summit of Group C after defeating Al Kuwait 1-0.

With six points, they remain perfect after two wins out of two matches.

In another group match, reigning AFC Player of the Year Ali Karimi starred for Al Ahli as they scored a disciplined 3-0 win over Uzbekistan?s Neftchi Fergana.

Karimi himself scored Ahli?s first goal in the 45th min with another two more coming from Faisal Khalil in the 55th min and 90th min. The win puts them in second place behind Sadd.
