IRNA - Turkish first division football club Fenerbahce Istanbul indicated its interest in acquiring the goalscoring services of Bayern Munich's Iranian striker Vahid Hashemian, German news reports said Monday.

Hashemian whose current contract with Bayern runs until the summer of 2007, has failed to make an impact following his 2 million euro transfer from VfL Bochum last summer.

Bayern has announced its readiness to sell the disgruntled reserve forward at the end of this season.

Hashemian has also attracted interest from his former team VfL Bochum, Hertha Berlin, Borussia Moenchengladbach and second division team FC Cologne.
