Ali Daei: "Iran currently has its best national football team"

PLDC - Daei believes that if nothing out of ordinary happens, Iran will be going to its third ever world cup finals.

Daei told reporters: "If you look at our team roster, you see some of the best names and players that have played for Iran's football and we are probably the best team in Asia."

Daei also mentioned that he is happy that he has been doing well in Saba and that he hopes that he can continue to be an influential player for the national team as well and can answer to those who want him out of the team.

Ali Daei is on top form recently and unlike the Asian nation's cup that he only scored three goals, he is probably the number one striker on the team for the world cup qualifiers.
