Branko: "Self-confidence is Bahrain's main positive point"

PLDC - The Head Coach of the national team told reporters yesterday that he has watched Oman-Bahrain game in the gulf cup and he has learned so much about the Bahraini team which will be useful.

Branko also talked about the high quality of the Gulf cup. Branko told reporters: "Bahrain has become a great football team and they are a much better team then they were four years ago."

Branko said that self confidence amongst Bahraini players is the main factor behind their success as they showed that against KSA when they started to dominate the game without any fear of the Saudis, which is one of the powers of Asian football.

Regarding Bahrain, Branko concluded his interview by saying that Bahrain has a strong middle-field and two very good forwards, and their defenders are not afraid to attack as they push the team forward from the back line.

Also Branko commented on Zandi, and said that he has given Zandi 20 days to decide and Zandi is put in a difficult situation as he has to choose between the Iranian national team and the German team.
