MNA – Sepahan extended manager Farhad Kazemi’s contract Sunday. Although the head coach had already said he would quit and Paykan had announced to have hired him, the Isfahan-based Sepahan managed to convince him to stay. Under Kazemi, Sepahan celebrated the second Iran Pro League title in 2002 and was crowned at the League Cup Wednesday with an aggregate 5-2 win over Esteqlal of Tehran. Sepahan and the third IPL holder Pas will represent Iran in the Asian Champions League. |
