SAIPA beats Ardebil`s Zob

IRNA - SAIPA defeated the home side Zob Ahan 1-0 here Sunday.
At their first-leg game of the League Cup, the two sides played in front of some 15,000 fans in Takhti stadium.
The visitor took three points as Farhad Khanqoli netted in the 10th minute.
In another Sunday`s match, Barq of Shiraz squeezed into the last eight in defiance of a loss to Dayhim Ahvaz, southern Iran.
Mohammad Khaziravi scored the sole goal of the match in the 26th minute to help the home side beat Barq 1-0 on the pitch of Takhti stadium.
Dayhim blamed Ali Bahmani, who missed a penalty kick in the 26th minute.
Barq had won the first leg 2-0 and cruised to the next round with a 2-1 win on aggregate.
The Shirazi team meets the third Iran Pro League champion, Pas, in the next match.
