Hashemian confirms move to Bayern

IRNA - Vfl Bochum's Iranian forward Vahid Hashemian confirmed Sunday that he has agreed to Bayern Munich's three-year contract offer and he will transfer to the German Bundesliga record champ at the end of this season.

"I will play at Bayern Munich next season," the private sports television network DSF quoted Hashemian as saying. 

The former Pas player, whose current contract with Bochum was to end on June 30, 2005, is to earn 1.8 million euros a year while playing in Munich.

Bochum will reportedly receive 2 million euros in transfer compensation.
