AFC - The IR Iran Football Federation (FF) offered their condolences to the family of the late J.S.N. Anandarajah on his passing away last week. In a letter to the Asian Football Confederation (AFC), IR Iran FF General Secretary A.A.E. Daneshvar offered his condolence on behalf of the federation. “Hearing the regretful and most saddening news of Mr. J.S.N. Anandarajah’s passing away, one of the most devoted, influential and hard working figures in the football family of Asia has moved us. “On behalf of the federation, I offer our condolences to his family and wish them patience and tolerance in the way of coping with the loss of a nice and likeable man,” said Daneshvar. The IR Iran FF had the honour of working with Anandarajah during the AFC U-20 Championship held in Tehran in 2000 where he was the Head of the AFC Delegation. Daneshvar explained that they got acquainted with a man of appreciable sense and character, who had a dedicated a considerable part of his life to the football of Asia and worked day and night for the success and pride of the AFC. “He will be missed and remembered by all of us,” he added. |
