Tasnim – Brazilian striker Luciano Pereira Mendes has penned a one-year contract extension with Foolad on Monday.
Pereira along with his compatriot Kiros Stanlley won the Iran Professional League (IPL) Golden Boot last year.

The 35-year-old forward had reportedly reached an agreement with Padideh but he extends his deal with the Ahvaz-based football team.
Foolad finished in eighth place.
The team is headed by ex-Iran captain Javad Nekounam in the new season.
