Tehran Times - Persepolis football team were held to a 1-1 draw by Tractor Sazi in Iran Professional League (IPL) on Wednesday.
In the match held in Tabriz’s Yadegar-e Emam Stadium, Kamal Kamyabinia gave the visiting team a lead in the 11th minute, slotting home a cross from Bashar Resan.
Persepolis could have scored the second goal in the 25th minute but Ahmad Nourollahi’s shot was saved by Tractor Sazi goalkeeper Mohammadreza Akhbari,
Persepolis were dominants in the second half and Mehdi Torabi could register the second goal for the visiting team in the 56th minute with a long-range shot but Akhbari saved it.

Danial Esmaeilifar equalized the match in the 79th minute after Persepolis defenders failed to clear Ehsan Haji Safi’s long throw.
Persepolis are IPL leaders with 57 points, followed by Sepahan who have 51 points and one game in hands.
