PLDC – Tractor Sazi goalkeeper Mohsen Forouzan has been arrested for being involved in betting activities.
Forouzan’s wife, Nasim Nahali, who is an Iranian model, has been also arrested for betting activity.
The prosecutors are investigating on the case, Iran Students News Agency reported.
The goalkeeper was suspended by the Tractor Sazi club following his mistakes in the match against Sepidrood in Iran Professional League in April.

Forouzan conceded a goal in the second minutes after making a big mistake. The goalie made another mistake in the second half and failed to save a shot, conceding a goal from close range in Rasht.
Forouzan was suspended from all football-related activities by The Disciplinary Committee of Iran Football Federation for one month on Monday and a day after he was arrested along with his wife for being involved in betting activity.
