Tasnim – Sepahan football team defeated Sepidrood Rasht 3-0 to return to top of the Iran Professional League (IPL) table on Sunday.
Amir Ghalenoei’s team defeated Sepidrood 3-0 courtesy of goals from Ali Ghorbani, Mehrdad Mohammadi and Kiros Stanlley in Isfahan’s Naghsh-e Jahan Stadium.
Earlier on the day, Persepolis suffered its first loss in the current season, losing to Foolad 2-1 in Ahvaz’s Ghadir Stadium.
Mehdi Zobeidi and Luciano Pereira scored for Foolad and Kamal Kamyabinia pulled a goal back.
Tractor Sazi was also held to a 1-1 draw by Nassaji in Ghaemshahr.
