Tasnim – Iran U-23 football team lost to Tajikistan 2-1 at the four-nation international event on Tuesday.
Vahid Namdari scored Iran’s only goal in the match held at Aspire Academy in Doha, Qatar.
The tournament is being held in Doha from 15 to 21 January.
The participating teams are Qatar, Iran, Kuwait and Tajikistan.
Iran is preparing for the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) U-23 Championship 2020.
