Tasnim – Persepolis football team earned a late win over Machine Sazi in Iran Professional League (IPL) on Thursday.
In the match held in Bonyan Diesel Stadium in Iran's northwestern city of Tabriz, Persepolis defender Shoja Khalilzadeh found the back of the net with a header in the dying moments of the match.
Persepolis sits third with 24 points, five points adrift of IPL leader padideh.
In Tehran, Esteghlal defeated Sanat Naft 3-0 and moved to fifth place.
Farshid Bagheri opened the scoring for the Blues in Tehran’s Azadi Stadium in the 9th minute.

Iraqi midfielder Humam Tariq made it 2-0 in the 24th minute and Allahyar Sayyadmanesh scored Esteghlal’s third goal in the 74th minute.
