Tasnim – Persepolis football team's coach Branko Ivankovic says they are not afraid of anyone in the 2019 AFC Champions League.
Persepolis, who lost 2-0 to Kashima Antlers on aggregate in this year’s final, will begin its campaign in the West Zone’s Group D where it has Qatar's Al Saad SC, Saudi Arabia’s Al Ahli Saudi FC and the Play-off 1 (UAE/UZB/IRQ) winners for company.
“We cannot wait for the start of the new season. We want to continue our strong run in the new campaign,” Ivankovic said.
“We are not afraid of any team. Persepolis has been drawn in the toughest group but it doesn’t matter because we are Persepolis,” the Croat added.
