Tasnim – Iran Under-23 football team will travel to Muscat to play a friendly match with Oman team.
The friendly match will be held as preparation for the qualification phase for the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) U-23 Championship 2020.
Iran has been drawn along with Iraq, Yemen and Turkmenistan in Group C, while Oman is pitted with Qatar, Nepal and Afghanistan.
The AFC U-23 Championship 2020 is scheduled to take place in Thailand. It will act as the AFC qualifiers for the men’s football tournament at the 2020 Olympics.
Zlatko Kranjcar’s boys will leave Tehran on Sunday and play Oman U-23 football team on Tuesday.
