PLDC – Persepolis midfielder Omid Alishah missed the crucial match against Kashima Antlers due to a foot injury.
Persepolis will host the Japanese team in the second leg of the AFC Champions League final on Saturday in Tehran’s Azadi Stadium.
The Iranian giant has lost to Kashima 2-0 in the first leg at the Kashima Stadium.
Alishah has suffered an ankle sprain and missed the vital match and it will be a big blow for Persepolis.
“It’s a painful moment in my life since I cannot play due to an injury. I wanted to do my best against Kashima and it’s unbelievable for me missing the important match,” Alishah said.
