PLDC – Iran international striker Saman Ghoddos has made the final three-person shortlist for the best Swedish ‘Forward of the Year’.
The Iranian-Swedish player played for Östersunds FK for three years before joining French association football club Amiens in August.
In February, Ghoddos provided two assists in his side's 2–1 win in the second leg of the Europa League round of 32 against English Premier League side Arsenal in London, though they were defeated 4–2 on aggregate.
Ghoddos will vie with Swedish legend Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Melbourne Victory attacking midfielder Ola Toivonen.
The name of the winner will be announced on Nov. 12 at the Swedish Football Gala in Globen.
