Tasnim – Esteghlal football team was held by Foolad in Week 5 of Iran Professional League (IPL) on Wednesday.
The Blues played out a goalless draw against Foolad in Tehran’s Azadi Stadium.
Esteghlal, who is preparing for the AFC Champions League quarter-final match against Al Sadd of Qatar, performed a lackluster display in front of about 20,000 fans.
On Thursday, Sanat Naft will host Persepolis, Machine Sazi face Zob Ahan and Nassaji face Naft Masjed Soleyman.
Sepahan will clash Tractor Sazi in the match of the week in Isfahan on Friday, IPL leader Padideh face Paykan, Saipa play Pars Jonoubi and Esteghlal Khuzestan meet Sepidrood.
