Tasnim – Esteghlal football club will sign Zob Ahan striker Morteza Tabrizi by the end of the week.
Esteghlal’s officials want to hire the 27-year-old striker as a replacement for Senegalese attacker Mame Baba Thiam.
Tabrizi started his football in 2010 in Pas Hamedan and joined Zob Ahan after three years.
He has scored 39 goals for the Isfahan-based team in 138 matches.
Esteghlal has also negotiated with Iran national football team midfielder Masoud Shojaei.
The Iranian team must strengthen itself since it will face Qatar’s Al Sadd in the AFC Champions League’s quarter-final in late August.
