MNA - Egyptian newspaper Alfajir claimed that Iran’s national football team manager Carlos Queiroz has accepted to take charge of Egypt national football team, known as The Pharaohs.
According to reports, Queiroz and Egyptian Football Association have reached initial agreements, however, he had requested some time so that he can depart from Team Melli in a friendly way.
After experiencing three loses in group stage matches 2018 World Cup which was so disappointing for Mohammad Salah’s side, Egypt is now trying hard to revive the team and prepare it for 2019 Africa Cup of Nations.
On the other hand, officials of Iran’s Football Federation have repeatedly claimed that they have entered into agreement with Team Melli’s coach Carlos Queiroz for continuing cooperation till 2019 AFC Asian Cup. And that his contract can be extended after the event.
