PLDC – Persepolis football team completed the signing of iconic midfielder Soroush Rafiei on Sunday.
The 28-year-old player, who has most recently played for Qatari club Al Khor, has signed an 18-month contract with Persepolis for an undisclosed fee.
Rafiei will join Persepolis in winter transfer window since the Tehran-based football team is not allowed to sign any player until January for breaching the rules of transfer windows.
Rafiei joined Persepolis on a six-month contract in 2017 and was given the number 7, which had previously been retired in honor of club legend Ali Parvin. He scored a goal against Esteghlal in 84th Tehran Derby.
Rafiei joined Al Khor as free agent player in 2017 and now will sign a contract with an Iranian football team until January.
