PLDC – Iran national football team striker Sardar Azmoun suffered minor injuries following a car crash on Sunday.
The 24-year-old forward involved in a chain reaction crash on a road between cities of Neka and Behshahr in eastern parts of Mazandaran province, north of Iran.
Azmon’s Porsche suffered some damage on the front side.
Azmoun, who currently plays at Rubin Kazan, represented Iran national football team in three matches against Morocco, Spain and Portugal in Group B of the 2018 World Cup but failed to score a single goal.
He announced his retirement from international football after returning from Russia, after criticism of his performances at the World Cup.
