PLDC – Iran national football team coach Carlos Queiroz has been listed as one of the nominees to replace Rabah Madjer.
The Algeria Football Federation recently dismissed Rabah Madjer following a poor run of results that saw the national team lose to Iran, Saudi Arabia, Cape Verde and Portugal in their last four friendlies.
Queiroz has yet to agree to extend his stay as Team Melli coach despite claims by the president of the country's football federation that the Portuguese would lead the team at January's Asian Cup finals.
The ex-Real Madrid coach has been also linked with a move to South Africa and Egypt.
