PLDC – Ex-Sanat Naft coach Faraz Kamalvand has been named as new head coach of Iranian first tier football team Oxin Alborz.
He replaced Ali Latifi in the Azadegn League football team.
Kamalvand has taken charge of Oxin Alborz on a one-year contract.
Kamalvand became famous after coaching Shirin Faraz and promoting to Persian Gulf Cup in 2006-07 season.
He was appointed as the Tractor Sazi coach in summer 2008. Tractor Sazi won 2008–09 Azadegan League and promoted to Iran Pro League with Kamalvand after eight years.
Kamalvand finished fifth with Tractor Sazi in 2010-11 Persian Gulf Cup.
He has also coached Gostaresh Foolad, Pas Hamedan and Shahrdari Tabriz.
