PLDC – Paykan striker Morteza Aghakhan joined Iranian football giant Esteghlal on Thursday.
Aghakhan has penned a three-year contract with Esteghlal for an undisclosed fee.
Aghakhan is Esteghlal’s first summer signing.
The 25-year-old forward joined Paykan from Mes Rafsanjan in 2013 and scored 23 goals in 86 matches for the team.
Aghakhan is a product of Esteghlal’s youth academy.
Esteghlal is negotiating with Mame Baba Thiam but the Senegalese striker has yet to extend his contract.
