PLDC – A friendly match between Iran national football team and Greece has been called off.
The match had been scheduled to be held on June 2 in Greece.
According to media, Greece coach Michael Skibbe has canceled his team’s warm-up with Iran.
Iran will face Turkey in Istanbul on Monday and then will travel to Russia to prepare for the 2018 World Cup.
Iran was planning to play the European team as part of preparation for the 2018 World Cup.
Team Melli has been drawn with Morocco, Spain and Portugal in Group B of the competition.
Iran will open the campaign with a match against Morocco.
