PLDC – Iran national football team head coach Carlos Queiroz expressed concerns over Iran's preparations toward the World Cup coming up in Russia in June this year.
“First of all, I am very happy our efforts have resulted after seven years and we have a special field for Team Melli. IR Iran National Team Players complementary training at PEC (Performance Elite Center) has been completed and it works out for every man and woman player for developing football skills,” the Portuguese said.
“We will announce our final list for the World Cup within the next days. We analyze the players carefully because we want to participate in the World Cup with the best Iranian players,” Queiroz added.
“As Team Melli coach, I have to confess I am worried about the preparation. As I’ve already said, he 2018 World Cup could be Iran’s biggest-ever challenge,” Queiroz said.
