Esteghlal is the most-decorated team in Hazfi Cup with seven titles.
Winfried Schaefer extended his contract with Esteghlal for two years ahead of the final match.
Hazfi Cup is the Iranian football knockout cup competition, run by the Iranian Football Federation.
The competition was founded in 1975.
