PLDC – Khooneh be Khooneh football team has threatened to withdraw from Iran’s Hazfi Cup final.
The final match has been scheduled for Thursday in Khorramshahr but the first division team’s officials announced they will pull out of the final in protest of what happened in final day of the Azadegan League.
Khooneh be Khooneh failed to win promotion to Iran Professional League (IPL) for the first time on Sunday after finishing third in Azadegan League.
Naft Masjed Soleyman secured promotion to IPL as the champion and Nassaji Mazandaran came second above Khooneh be Khooneh due to a better goal difference.
Nassaji humiliated Rah Ahan 6-0 in Tehran’s Takhti Stadium while Khooneh be Khooneh defeated Bargh Jadid Shiraz 2-1 in Babol.
Now, Khooneh be Khooneh’s officials have accused them of corruption.
They want to file a complaint to Iran Football Federation over the incidents.
