PLDC - Persepolis captain Jalal Hosseini missed the first leg of the AFC Champions League knockout stage.
Hosseini was shown a yellow card in the match against Al Sadd of Qatar in Tehran’s Azadi Stadium on Monday.
The Iranian football team edged past Xavi’s Al Sadd and advanced to the knockout stage as the first team of Group C.
Persepolis will now face the second-placed team from Group A in the Round of 16, while Al Sadd play the winner of the same group.
