PLDC - Head of Football Federation of the Islamic Republic of Iran (FFIRI) Mehdi Taj says Team Melli will play a friendly match with Brazil after the 2018 World Cup.
According to Taj, they’ve reached an agreement in principle for the friendly.
“The friendly match will be held after the 2018 World Cup and before the 2019 AFC Asian Cup. An English company who arranges the Brazil’s friendlies, is responsible for this match,” Taj said.
Iran lost 3-0 to Brazil in October 2010 in a friendly match held in Abu Dhabi, the UAE.
