PLDC - Persepolis coach Branko Ivankovic says they will have a difficult task against Nasaf since the Uzbek side has a strong home record.
Nasaf Qarshi will host Persepolis at the Qarshi Markaziy Stadium in Group C of the AFC Champions League on Monday.
“We defeated Nasaf 3-0 in Tehran in February but they are a better team than they were in the first leg. We know well they have improved after several weeks,” Ivankovic said in the pre-match news conference.
“We’ve been drawn in one of toughest groups since three teams are competing for next stage. Nasaf will play us looking for a win but we are ready for this match and have no stress as well,” the Croat added.
“Nasaf takes advantage of several Uzbekistan national team players and they have nothing to lose and want to beat us in their home match,” Ivankovic recalled.
