Tehran Times - AZ Alkmaar ace Alireza Jahanbaksh has been sidelined for a while with a hamstring injury on Saturday.
The Iranian international winger suffered the injury in the 2-1 win against Excelsior that will likely keep him sidelined for four weeks.
“Jahanbakhsh's injury does not look good. We are unsure about the extent of his injury,” AZ Alkmaar coach John van den Brom said.
Jahanbakhsh has 12 goals and eight assists to his name this season and can stake a claim to be the best player in Holland, although PSV’s Hirving Lozano and Feyenoord’s former Watford man Steven Burghuis would have something to say about that.
