Tasnim - Goals by Ali Alipour and Farshad Ahmadzadeh earned Iran Professional League (IPL) leaders Persepolis a 3-0 win at Sanat Naft in Abadan on Wednesday.
Just 13 minutes into the match, Ahmadzadeh found the back of the net from close range and Alipour extended Persepolis’s lead in the 27th minute with a right-footed shot from outside the box.
Alipour was on target once again in the 56th minute. He scored his 17th goal for Persepolis in the current season.
Tractor Sazi also defeated Gostaresh Foolad 2-1 thanks to a Mehdi Kiani’s last grasp in Tabriz derby.
Persepolis lead the IPL table with 54 points, 16 points above second place Zob Ahan.
