Tasnim - Cameroonian striker Yves Ekwalla Herman has been linked with a move to Iranian top-flight football team Esteghlal.
The 28-year-old forward has traveled to Iran to participate at the club’s medical examination.
He currently plays for China League One club Xinjiang Tianshan Leopard.
Cameroonian striker Christian Bekamenga, Portuguese forward Yazalde Gomes Pinto and Nigerian Salisu Abdullahi "Alhaji" Gero had been already linked with Esteghlal.
The Blues need to strengthen their forward line for the 2018 AFC Champions League.
Esteghlal has been drawn along with Al-Rayyan of Qatar, Al-Hilal of Saudi Arabia and Winner Play-off West 1 in Group D of the competition.
Esteghlal will meet Al-Rayyan of Qatar on Feb. 13 in Doha in its opening match.
Winfried Schafer’s team also sits sixth in Iran Professional League, 16 points behind pacesetter Persepolis.
