Tasnim - Iraq's Minister of Youth and Sports Abdul-Hussein Abtaan will travel to Tehran Wednesday night to meet with the Iranian counterpart Masoud Soltanifar on Thursday.
The Iraqi delegation is going to strengthen the mutual relationship and to cooperate for further development of the sport in the two countries.
In the meeting, the two sides will also discuss a friendly match between two countries in Karbala.
Iran and Iraq enjoy cordial political, economic, security and cultural ties.
Iran has been a major supporter of Iraq's government and people in the Arab country's war against terrorism and Iraq's market is a major destination of Iran's non-oil exports.
