Tasnim - The Iranian national football team remained in 32nd place on the FIFA ranking released on Thursday.
Team Melli is still the best Asian football team, followed by Australia, Japan and South Korea.
Germany, Brazil and Portugal retained the top three places in the rankings.
Germany, who qualified to defend its crown in Russia by winning all ten of its qualifiers and has been unbeaten in 15 matches in 2017, succeed Argentina and Belgium, who were ‘Team of the Year’ in 2016 and 2015 respectively.
The next FIFA World Ranking will be published on 18 January 2018.
