The first Iranian, as a "FIFA Licensed Players Agent" started his activities a few days ago

PLDC - The complicated regulations of the Iranian pro-league, the rapid growth of the salary of the players, and their transfer fees, the expansion of international business relations of clubs, increasing interests of foreign coaches and players to continue their careers in Iran, and many other factors requires using the services of professionals in the related fields.
Shahrad Nazemi, who is best known for his involvement in the biggest transfers of the year last summer, as the manager of Golmohammadi and Akbarpour, after passing the related exam and depositing the required fee in a Swiss Bank, started his activities as the first Iranian permitted to use the title "FIFA Players Agent."

With five years experience working in this field in countries such as, England, Holland and the USA, he explains some aspects of his occupation:
"A 'player Agent' in the procedure of a transfer may act as the representative of a player, a coach or a club to defend their benefits and provide them a more profitable contract. Their knowledge of transfer regulations and having precise information on the situation of the market in any country, helps their clients to sign a more profitable contract and minimizes the probability of encountering legal problems regarding their contracts in the future.
Players like Ali Daei, Karim Bagheri, Sohrab Bakhtiarizadeh, Mehrdad Minavand, Reza Shahroodi and many others got into problems regarding their contracts while such problems could have easily been prevented by using the services or seeking advise of a professional agent."

In response to a question regarding his estimation for the reception of Iranian coaches, clubs and players, he says: "All the well-known world class players and coaches believe working with a professional as their business manager specially for their transfers, provides them more benefit and confidence. Also, all of the best clubs in the world cooperate with the players Agents very closely. Basically, the great necessity of organizing the procedures of a transfer through out the world forced FIFA to create a new profession in football, and FIFA recognizes the holders of this position as the 'Players Agents'. This is quite a new phenomenon in Iranian football, and like any new position needs time to be known in its society. We all remember when professionals like Masseurs, psychologists or even physiotherapists had no position in football at all. I am not in any particular rush and will do my job slowly and carefully."
