Tehran Times - Al Sadd will be able to count upon Morteza Pouraliganji until 2018 after the Iranian defender agreed an extension to his contract.
The Iranian inyernational has agreed a contract extension with the Qatari club that will see him remain at the club until 2018.
Pouraliganji rejected several offers from European and Chinese teams and accepted an offer from Qatar Stars League club Al Sadd in January 2016.
Al Sadd is going to strengthen the team ahead of the upcoming challenges at home and in Asia.
The Qatar football club has been grouped with ran’s Persepolis, Al Wasl from the UAE and the winner of the play-off match between Jordan’s Al Faisaly and an Uzbek club in Group C.
