Tehran Times - Former Iran national football team and Persepolis current coach Branko Ivankovic has been nominated to take charge of Uzbekistan football team.
Uzbekistan Football Federation (UFF) holds negotiations with potential candidates for the post, according to the press service of the UFF
Among candidates for the post of coach of the national team of Uzbekistan are Slavoljub Muslin from Serbia, Miodrag Radulovic from Montenegro, Angelo Alessio from Italy and Bernd Storck from Germany.
The Federation is also considering candidacy of Branko Ivankovic from Croatia, Slaven Bilic from Croatia, Walter Mazzarri from Italy and Bert van Marwijk from Holland to the post of head coach of Uzbekistan national team.
Uzbekistan are without a head coach after Samvel Babayan was sacked in September following failure to qualify for World Cup 2018.
