Tehran Times - Jiri Sanak has been named as assistant coach of Iran’s Esteghlal football team on Saturday.
Most recently, Sanak has worked at Czech Republic football team Mlada Boleslav.
Sanak replaced Mick McDermott in Tehran-based team.
Irish coach McDermott parted company with Esteghlal in late October.
According to Iranian media, a Jamaican coach will be added to Esteghlal staff.
Esteghlal German coach Winfried Schafer has already worked as Jamaica national team head coach.
Esteghlal sit 11th place in Iran Professional League, bagging 12 points from 11 matches.
Sanak will come to Tehran within the next few days to finalize his contract.
